1965
Lease Company, Ichnya Milk Powder and Butter Plant, was commissioned.

The design capacity of production of milk powder and butter as of the date of commission totaled 2.5 t/day. Heating energy was produced using coal-fired steam boilers.
1987
New production facility was built for processing milk into whole milk products, with the capacity of up to 10 t. Other production facilities were reconstructed: technological equipment for the production of milk powder and butter was replaced and modernized, a spray drier with the moisture evaporating capacity of 1,000 kg/h and a butter production line with the capacity of 2,000 kg/h were installed.
1989
Boiler reconstruction. As a result, the boiler facility began to use gas with steam production volume totaling 30 t/h.
1990
First lots of milk powder exported to CIS and non-CIS countries.
1993
Privatization of the plant.
The plant was reorganized into Ichnya Milk Powder and Butter Plant OJSC.
2003
European-type farms were formed with the prospects of creating a feedstock base.
2006
The company introduced the quality management system, ISO 9001-2001.
2008
The HACCP food safety management system was introduced in accordance with DSTU 4161-2003.
2012
The plant was reorganized into
Ichnya Milk Powder and Butter Plant PJSC.

The company’s capacity increased to:

Skimmed Milk Powder according to DSTU 4273:2003 -15 t/day;

Whole Milk Powder according to DSTU 4273:2003 - 20 t/day;

Sweet Cream Butter Selianske 73% milk fat according to DSTU 4399:2005 - 10 t/day;

Sweet Cream Butter Extra 82.5% milk fat according to DSTU 4399:2005 - 10 t/day.

The plant’s energy efficiency increased – transition to alternative fuels (peat).
